When I judge I tend to follow small but simple rules: emotion, composition and post-production. A picture must communicate with me, be well composed and care must be taken in post-production.
This image really impressed me... I viewed it and I thought: WOW! This has everything: emotion, composition, light/post-production. It is fabulous, its simplicity gave the impact. Perfect all round.
